Edge Hotel University of Essex – Contract Award

University of Essex has awarded John Paul Construction the contract for the construction of the Edge Hotel project on their Colchester Campus. This 3,550 sq.m hotel comprises a new build extension for 40 exclusive double bedrooms, restaurant and conference facilities. Also included is the refurbishment and restoration works to the 18th Century Grade 2 listed Wivenhoe House, which will provide fine dining, private function areas, luxury suites and support accommodation. The project, which is being undertaken on the live university campus commenced on 18th April 2011 and is due for completion in April 2012.
