R148 Road Realignment

The R148 Road Realignment was officially opened on Monday 16th December. The project’s success lay in logistical challenges being overcome thanks to strong cooperation from our colleagues at Intel and within Kildare County Council. This ensured that existing traffic flow was managed, operations at the Intel Campus continued uninterrupted and impact to local road users was minimised.

Designed and planned by Arup this new road, which was delivered on time and on budget through close collaboration with our supply chain partners, promises improved traffic flow, capacity, and connectivity to support the local area for years to come..
