Description
We are seeking talented Graduate Quantity Surveyors to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their career to gain valuable experience in the construction industry.
Junior Quantity Surveyors for our projects located nationwide and in the UK and Germany.
Key responsibilities:
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets
- Help with cost control, monitoring, and reporting of projects
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and compare against project schedules
- Measure and value work done on-site, ensuring accurate record-keeping
- Assist with procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Work closely with senior quantity surveyors and project managers
- Prepare and submit payment applications and invoices
Qualifications:
- Relevant Third level in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Project)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team and manage time effectively
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations
- Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD or similar
