Due to continued growth we wish to recruit a Bid Manager for our Construction bid submissions.
The Bid Manger will join a dedicated Bid team based in our Head Office in Dundrum.
Reporting to the Bid Department Manager, you will demonstrate true leadership and project management skills to deliver successful bids on time and to the highest quality.
The Bid Manager will have a proven track record of managing bid submissions for projects across a range of sectors including:-
- Data Centres
- Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical
- Industrial
- Commercial
- Residential and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive the progress to completion of bid submissions.
- Lead the preparation of bid documents, including gathering project requirements, organizing bid materials, and ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Undertake a detailed analysis of all technical aspects associated with bids and tender opportunity and develop the approach in relation to risk, temporary works, phasing, logistics, and buildability.
- Manage written technical and quality submissions required for bids.
- Develop, maintain and foster collaborative relationships with the other members of the work winning and planning teams and John Paul management.
Specific Requirements
- 7+ years relevant industry experience
- Relevant 3rd level qualification
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- Experience specifically focused on managing bid submissions
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office, CRM software and Tender Portals
