Due to continued growth we wish to recruit a Preconstruction / Bid Manager for our Construction bid submissions.
The Bid Manger will join a dedicated Bid team based in our Head Office in Dundrum.
Reporting to the Bid Department Manager, you will demonstrate true leadership and project management skills to deliver successful bids on time and to the highest quality.
The Bid Manager will have a proven track record of managing bid submissions for projects across a range of sectors including:-
- Data Centres
- Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical
- Industrial
- Commercial
- Residential and more.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the bid process.
• Assist with the development and implementation bid strategies, aligning with company objectives and client requirements.
• Coordinate and manage bid teams, ensuring clear communication and task delegation for the bid submission.
• Review and interpret tender documentation, identifying risks, opportunities, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather technical, commercial, and financial information to inform our submissions.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of compelling bid presentations and proposals.
• Conduct post-bid analysis and feedback sessions to continuously improve the bid process.
• Work closely with design, estimating, and procurement teams to develop comprehensive preconstruction plans.
• Evaluate and mitigate potential risks associated with design, planning, and project execution.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Support the development of cost-effective and innovative solutions during preconstruction.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor and report on preconstruction progress, budgets, and timelines.
Specific Requirements
- 7+ years relevant industry experience
- Relevant 3rd level qualification
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- Experience specifically focused on managing bid submissions
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in Microsoft Office, CRM software and Tender Portals
