New Scania Truck

We were delighted to take delivery recently of our brand-new Scania Group truck.

The truck was welcomed by our Yard and Plant Operator, Frank Carroll Junior, who has been driving for John Paul Construction for 24 years, continuing the role from his father Frank Carroll Senior who began driving for John Paul Construction in 1982, until his retirement in 2008. We are proud to have over 40 years of truck driving in safe hands with the Carroll family.

The new special custom build V8 770hp Scania is particularly environmentally and safety friendly, with features including the ability to run on HVO (hydrogenated vegetable oil), advanced emergency braking, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, side detection for pedestrians and cyclists, and a front, rear, left and right facing camera system to name a few. It also comes with a Palfinger 88002 EH crane, with a max lift of 30,000 KG and front leg stabiliser.
