Helen Forbes

Helen was appointed to the role of Human Resources (HR) Director in January 2023, and is responsible for ensuring that the people practices and leadership development throughout the company are aligned and support the achievement of the business’ strategy. An essential element of Helen’s role is to ensure the company recruits and retains sufficient talented people to meet its strategic goals, together with equipping the current workforce with the skills to develop both professionally and personally. Prior to joining John Paul Construction, Helen worked for Aviva holding HR roles in Aviva’s Real Assets division in London and, most recently, as People Director in Ireland, where she was responsible for the People & Culture strategy. Helen also spent 16 years with GE in a variety of progressing HR roles.
