Stoke on Trent Enson Works – Contract Award

Stoke on Trent City Council in partnership with Stoke on Trent College, awarded John Paul Construction with Contract 3 of the Centre of Refurbishment Excellence (CoRE) project, for the Grade 2 listed refurbishment and structural repairs of the disused Enson Works pottery site together with 4 kiln chimney stacks. This 1500m2 project will provide additional facilities as part of a national centre for the advancement of sustainable refurbishment, an authoritative training and research facility for innovation in retrofitting technologies. This complex restoration project commenced in December 2011.
